NM routing25 Aug 2008 14:04 GMT12
I'm going to be drifting slowly from Colorado Springs, leaving there 10/07,
heading eventually for Mesa, AZ, arriving around 11/1.
Right now I'm looking at US 64 arcross northern NM, from I25 to Farmington.
I'll be pulling a 36' fiver.
Doran 360RV Antenna25 Aug 2008 13:38 GMT2
I know some of you must be using the Doran 360RV with the external
antenna. I've just ordered the antenna for our RV (should be here by
Wednesday) and am looking for any tips for locating the antenna. Do
you just run it underneath the RV and back far enough so it's about in

I stumbled across roadsideamerica.com by accident. I'd be surprised if
most people here didn't know about the site. If you haven't seen it,
try:

Weird Week24 Aug 2008 13:59 GMT5
Even by my standards, this has been a weird week.
Last Friday, while I was driving my F-550 tow vehicle to the hardware
store to get some accessories for my little air compressor, a distracted
driver ignored a stop sign and crashed into my truck's left front wheel.

Best Forest River Brand?23 Aug 2008 20:06 GMT6
I was looking at a Flagstaf and my nephew looked at me like I was
buying the Kia of the industry.  Is one Forest River line of TT and
5er better than another?  I don't see myself using using something
like an Airstream long enough to warrant the cost.

Hi Don,
Have you seen this... if you sell that product you might want to get
it off your shelves...

E-Trailer.com23 Aug 2008 15:14 GMT3
E-Trailer.com looked good and seemed to have what I wanted -- an AC
plug that became a DC outlet for electronic gear.  My 5th Wheel did
not have such a plug built in, and E-Trailer.com offered one for $10
plus shipping.  So, I ordered one to use particularly for my tire

RV oriented scam23 Aug 2008 13:50 GMT11
This is the first time I've seen something like this on Craig's
List.
Today, as usual, I was trolling for motorhomes, and ran across
this ad:
Waxing an RV23 Aug 2008 04:41 GMT16
After a few posts I started waxing the Commander. I'm putting
303 on the vinyl decals and cleaner wax on the fiberglass.
           Then, I remembered I had a buffer. It's a Coleman something or
other and it jiggles and spins somewhat.
Flying J RV Card Program Changes22 Aug 2008 22:04 GMT4
Effective September 1, 2008, Flying J is restoring the 1 cent per
gallon diesel discount without requiring a store purchase in the
previous month.
However, the discount is limited to 300 gallons per month, and for
