Street Atlas 200922 Aug 2008 15:34 GMT17
Mike showed me the new "navigation" screen in this application earlier this
year and we had a chance to try it out a while ago. Wow! It's great! It's a
lot like the nav screens you get on the GPS units that give you a view of
the road from slightly behind and overhead. It sure ...
Interesting Park discussion22 Aug 2008 03:04 GMT22
Took the MH out for the weekend to Sampson State Park.  Spent some
time with a talkative park ranger.  He was saying NYSP had a record
year last year and are ahead of it this year but not nearly as many
out of state campers.  It seems a lot of folks are camping, just not

ON TOPIC: The Highways and Byways Of Central and Eastern Oregon21 Aug 2008 21:09 GMT8
We recently returned from a 7-day jaunt through parts of Central and
Eastern Oregon, and except for a few ominous skies along the way, it
was quite an adventure, one I would recommend to anyone wanting to see
the "other" Oregon.
Power vent21 Aug 2008 20:28 GMT30
Got out camping this past week and ran into some pretty bad weather for
this area.  Day time temp at 90 and humidity a close second.  No
hook-ups.  Weather made for some difficult sleeping.
No power fan/vent on the MH and have been giving some thought on adding
Oops in San Diego21 Aug 2008 18:54 GMT7
Here's a link to a newscast about a motorhome that ended up in Mission  Bay
while trying to launch a boat. The driver said something happened to the
brakes, but one person nearby heard the engine rev;  possibly the driver
forgot she was in reverse.
Leveling board question21 Aug 2008 18:07 GMT53
One of the next things is to sort out leveling.   I understand the
2x10 stepped ramp idea but I wonder about dual wheels.  Do I ignore
the second wheel when camped or use a double wide leveling stack?

How Using a Fuel Additive Help Improve Your Gas Mileage21 Aug 2008 02:24 GMT9
Summer is here and it looks like gas prices aren't going to
permanently go down any time soon. As predicted, it looks like we're
in for a summer of high gas prices.
Many consumers are searching for ways to save on their overall fuel
Did Georgia's President Think McCain Was Bought and Paid For?20 Aug 2008 19:10 GMT21
Randy Scheunemann, McCain's chief foreign policy has so far
collected $800,000 from Georgia. I suppose you could call
that bribery, campaign contributions, lobbying fees, or just
a generous gift from President Mikheil SaakashviliI to
RV versus Truck with Camper20 Aug 2008 17:00 GMT47
My father is retired and has been full-timing in a Sprinter camper for
the past year.  He's unhappy in this rig, he's finding it just too
cramped for comfortable full-timing.  He also is unable to drive into
remote forest areas like he had envisioned.  His latest idea is to get a ...
