Anyone near Refugio?15 Aug 2008 21:13 GMT7
I got an email from somebody selling a Winnebago with "a
stainless steel floor and roof".
Anybody happen to be near Refugio, Texas?  If you are, would you
like to check that out?
Broken Ankle and travel Update15 Aug 2008 20:30 GMT5
I had minor surgery this morning to remove the syndesmosis screw from
my ankle (which tied the tibia and fibula together, and would
eventually break if left in). Got it as a souvenir, but disappointed
that it was stainless instead of titanium. I don't know if all of the

The price of gas has scared me away from RVs that require alot of gas

gas will be going up after November elections, I believe it will.

Thin Lite 12VDC fixture fluorescent lamp life15 Aug 2008 00:47 GMT36
I have a number of 12VDC Thin-lite fluorescent light fixtures that use
both F8T5 and F15T8 tubes, in my motorhome.  The fluorescent lamp life
is very short compared to what I experience with 120VAC fixtures.
I have checked the voltage at the fixture and it is good.  "Good"
VIRUS WARNING14 Aug 2008 20:04 GMT5
Could turn out to be a false alarm but our daughter thought it was valid
enough to pass on.  Their hospital administrator posted the warning.

Amazing Hard Drive14 Aug 2008 15:59 GMT9
Just now, while moving my desk chair around, I caught a USB cord
hanging from my HP laptop, and CRASHED the thing to the floor,
about a two foot drop.  It was dormant at the time.  The screen
came alight, but otherwise nothing happened.

Has anyone noticed a decline in them in campgrounds ??
Last year and this spring, I had them in my yard and they were a
problem
with them trying to enter my house.
Drano14 Aug 2008 01:22 GMT6
Is it okay to use ordinary Drano in an old RV, or do you need to get some
special RV stuff? My trailer is very old, 1979.
