Anyone have hotel/inn recommendations for a romantic getaway weekend
on Block Island or Martha's Vineyard?  We are looking for something
that won't break the bank, but not the cheapest room, either
($100-$200/night).

We are two couples from Germany, searching for a rented house/cottage in the
Cape Cod area. We would like to stay for two to three weeks in
August/September.

We are planning a trip to the USA next may/june. We start first with New
York, I think 25 of May 2004. I understand that the next weekend your
celibrating Independence day. My question is : Is it recommended that we go
to NY that week, or is it better tot go later or earlyer ?

Does the NYC subway system now connect JFK airport to Manhattan?
If not, what's the best option to get myself and a bag to Manhattan from the
airport?  Bag will be luggable. Looking for the optimum cost-to-hassle
