Need advice please.
1. Driving times -best and worst. Looking at Saturday afternoon.
2. Is there a shuttle service available for this trip?
3. What would a cab cost?

Can anyone assist ? I am thinking of planning a holiday (sorry vacation) to
Vancouver Island in Sept 04. Initially looking at Comox. Has anyone been
there before / lived there / make any recomendations etc. etc. (not
interested in accomodation as I will be going on a house exchange) ...

I'm going to the Florida Keys in mid-November and was wondering if anyone
can share their favorite snorkeling spots.  Also, if anyone has any

I just got back from another great trip to Canada. This time I went to
the Bruce Peninsula and the Georgian bay. It was my 6 months old baby
girl's first camping trip. The last time I was in Canada was in 2000.
This time I saw a lot more Canadian flags out flying than I remember

I found a free coffeehouse in Denver at 850 Lincoln Street right next
to Armida's Mexican Restaurant.Free coffee, tea and all the pastries
you can eat. Open from Tuesday through Friday 8:30-4:30.

Hello.  My wife and I secured a room on Priceline at the Holiday Inn
Seattle (on Dexter) for 9 days in February 2004.  Of course with
Priceline you can't anticipate which hotel you are going to get, and
we have no way of backing out of our deal.

Could someone tell me when will be the best time to fly to Vancouver to
see maple this autumn?  And some suggestions on what park/part of
Vancouver?  Thanks!  All other tips are also appreciated!!

Flying into New Orleans in November, renting a car for two weeks to
tour the deep south.  Any itinerary recommendations?
(I use Rick Steves' guidebooks in Europe, sure is a lot harder to put
it together yourself!)  :)

We are wanting to travel from Vancouver to Winnipeg next year but do
not know anything about Canadaian railways. Advertised journey times
seem to be about a week!!! Surely there are quicker trains? Or do we
need to take a flight?

I am looking for a high resolution picture of the Sacramento, CA mileage
sign at the start (end) of Highway 50 in Ocean City, MD.  If anyone can
point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.  The only two

I heard of a horror story about an old retired lady in California giving her
car to her nephew as a gift. A couple years later the nephew got into a car
accident. The nephew was at fault, someone got injured and the old lady was
held liable for the accident and had to pay a big sum ...

We have booked a two week vacation on the Big Island - a few days at Volcano
and the rest of the time at Kona.  I would welcome your suggestions for:
- places to get local food - saimin, plate lunch, local fish, etc.
- horseback riding (mainly guided trail rides for beginners)

Does anyone have any leaf-peeping suggestions for our visit next week to
North Hatley, Quebec? I'm sure there will be lots of colors there, and
wonder if any specific  roads will provide great views.
