Any advice or opinions abt driving down Mississippi
Highway 61..... say from Memphis Tenn to the Golf?

Trying to prepare a driving direction route from Yosemite national
park to Bryce canyon I received the quickest way via Las Vegas. Since
I prefer to be in Las Vegas as the last stop, what is the alternative
? (I prefer to drive the distance in one day due lake of time)

A news item the other day listed countries that appealed to tourists.
Canada was way down the list and came out only marginally ahead of
Iraq!   I couldn't believe it.   Is the climate a problem for
tourists?   Or has Canada priced itself out of the market?

OK..... I have 4 vacation days left for the year.  I

I'm a 70 year old amputee who is going on a church sponsored bus trip to NY
City. We should arrive Wednesday  12/10/03 about 10:00AM around 43rd &
Broadway. Where can I go - not too far e.g. by cab-to kill 3 hours before the
show "Mama Mia" which at starts 2:00PM in the Wintergarden ...

I recently made a reservation at LongView Lodge in the Adirodacks and
secured it with a credit card. When unforeseen circumstances forced me
to cancel the reservation, the Lodge charged my credit card $25 as a
cancellation fee, something they never mentioned in the original phone

Is there much to be gained by buying ESB tickets in advance - we'll be going
on a weekday at the start of September - will having tickets in our hands
save us any appreciable amount of time?

through new year and would like to know if
1. Are there still boat trips on the Potomac?
2. Is Alexandria any good?

Hi, I'd like to take my girl friend out for a weekend to a cottage
some where and propose to her. I'd preffer to stay a few hours drive
within Toronto and get a place for a weekend. Can someone recommend me
a few places to call? The budget should be between 100 to 150 a night.

or somewhere else in the US?   I did a google search but was just able
