Is there any feasible way of making a day trip from Washington DC to
Williamsburg without a car? Amtrak is possible but the last train back is at
15:07 which doesn't give a lot of time there. Greyhound takes far too long.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas here on this.. Mapquest shows a route
going way out to Syracuse and then up I-81, which seems like a lot of
extra miles. I was thinking going through Montreal might be better,
though that means driving on non-freeways for much of the time.
