I visited Canada from the US recently, and didn't realize I was supposed to bring a passport or birth certificate. They acted irritated with me, had me go talk with someone at the immigration office (right there at the border), and then let me in. They

I'm traveling to new york in December and am thinking about visiting the niagara fall as well. Is it possible to fly from new york to niagara ? I thought about taking the train but it takes 7 hours. Any advice is most welcome.

Mapquest.com says it would take almost six and a half hours to drive to Canyon de Chelly from Phoenix. Is that about right or does it take less time ? Also, once we are there, what is the minimum amount of time we can see it

We'll be in the area and have never been to the Outer banks. Would we be crazy to go this time of year? will anything be open? what kind of weather might we expect? the temperature profile looks fine but unclear about rain and wind.
