Anyone know of any place fun or really unique places to eat in Boston?
Have teenagers and wanted something different.

We are intending to make a trip, mid June, with a motor home in Western

I am planning on going for a  vacation for 4 weeks. I am in South
Dakota and was wondering if I need to keep the heat on in my apartment
while I'm gone. Is there any chance that the water pipes would break
coz of the cold in my apartment. .It is a three storey apartment

Bought my daughter a pair of ski trousers in France on spec. for
forthcoming ski trip to Killington. Yes, they don't fit.
Here in UK they are stupid prices £75 and upwards.
For 1 week that's a bit steep.

Our local PBS station is having a "vacation auction"
where you can bid on 1, 2, or 3 night stays at "resorts"
in Canada, U.S., Carribean, etc.

Ill be in Florida next week and may need to take some money out of an
ATM machine. Will there be any problems with my Candian Bank card
(Interac) in taking U.S. currency out? I take it it will do the
exchange conversion and deduct the money out of my account in Canadian

What is the going rate for tipping in the US?
i.e. cab, porter, waiter (or is it waitperson like here?), etc.

First hand info on using the park with children 10 and 5...June 22-25th.
What about visiting Gettysburg from Harrisburg...time to allow etc.
Our accommodations are in Mechanicsburg will we be stuck in traffic each day on our way to the park?

Can anyone recommend a medium-priced hotel or B&B on Kauai, oceanfront
or very close to ocean with ocean view? By affordable I'm thinking
around $100-125 USD.
I've read a lot of reviews on Tripadvisor.com and Fodor's. Wailua Bay

we are spending 2 nights in LA and 5 nights in NY during Sept 04. In
Australia $70 to $100 gets one a very nice motel.
Is this the price range we should look at?

Having never visited LA before (I'm from the UK), could someone recommend
a good location (and/or hotel) to stay whilst I'm there.
We are looking for a middle of the road place to stay, say 3-4 star type place
based on the following things.

My mom and I are hitting the road in May. We only have two weeks to
kick *ss and take names in several states. We are landing in and
leaving from Chicago, and the only places we have-to-see-before-we-die
are New Orleans, Nashville and Memphis. Everything else is gravy! The

cell phones while driving in New Jersey.  Hands Free Cell Phones are
permitted/encouraged for anyone driving in / through New Jersey.
