From West coast to Boston and Toronto.13 Apr 2004 01:36 GMT8
Am looking for a mid-June trip to Boston for a wedding then to Toronto.
Unfortunately it has to be on a specific date for Boston.  Wondering what is
the best way to book tickets.  Open jaw SFO-Boston-Toronto-SFO?  Or rt
SFO-Boston, then rt Boston-Toronto?

New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Road from Jackson12 Apr 2004 20:55 GMT9
We've just decided to head to Louisiana for a couple of days during the last
week of April.  Because of flight schedules, we're flying into Jackson, MS
rather than Louisiana--we end up still getting to spend more time in New
Orleans.  The arriving flight gets to Jackson at 10:15 ...

NY Yankees12 Apr 2004 17:26 GMT6
I will be in NYC this weekend. My plan for Sunday (April 11th) is to
checkout at the Hotel (in East Side), drive to the stadium, see the match,
and come back to Montreal.
Does it sound feasible? (My main worry is the traffic.)
Toque! in Montreal Warning12 Apr 2004 16:53 GMT7
Although I cannot provide enough details right now to justify this
admittedly big statement, my hopes is that someone might save $400 CAD
on a potentially disasterous meal in the interim.  I will post a
follow up providing supporting details.
Kamloops area info request12 Apr 2004 16:46 GMT1
The obvious route from Kamloops to Merritt is route 5.
However, my AAA map shows a parallel route 5A to the east. At the
Kamloops end it's a very thin black line.
Is it a worthwhile alternative if I have time to spare?

Thanks for all the help with locating the JFK AirTrain. I have been happily
looking on the various websites. Now I have to plan a place to spend the
afternoon.  The AirTrain will take to you either Jamaica, or Howard Beach.
From Jamaica, it seems a short trip to Flushing area, on E ...
Best Beach in LA-Orange County area12 Apr 2004 04:13 GMT5
What is the best beach for a small family with an 11 year old to
visit?  I would like something family oriented,( probably not Venice
for example) not too crowded, but not isolated either. ( San Clemente
and south to Oceanside )
cell phone jammers (was Amtrak - no quiet car)12 Apr 2004 03:30 GMT8
The NYTimes for Thursday April 8 (Circuits Scetions) has an article
that discusses legal cell phone control and jamming. They give the
background of situations where the devices probably do not violate the
law either because of the manner in which they work (re-direction to
