Seattle to Vancouver, early planning.08 Jun 2004 21:18 GMT8
I am planning a trip from Seattle to Vancouver.  I am flying into Seattle,
rent a car, and driving to Vancouver.  I am thinking about driving or taking
ferries to near Olympia NP first, then ferry to Vancouver Island, then ferry

hotel in NJ to visit NYC08 Jun 2004 16:47 GMT10
We are planning a short 1 night trip to NYC later in the summer.  I
thought about staying in NJ and then taking public transit into the
city for sightseeing.  I figured that would be less expensive than a
city room.  My kids want to see the Empire State Bldg and the Statue

Hi: In a couple of weeks, we are travelling up north and will be going by
Lake Temiscaming.  Which side would you say is the best to travel?  The
Ontario or the Quebec side?  Scenery, museums, etc interest us.  Due to the
nature of our route, we will be only passing by on our way up ...

Best summer vacation 6 hrs out of Indy07 Jun 2004 17:35 GMT1
Some friends and I want to head someplace with beaches within a 6 hour
drive of Indianapolis.  I'd like some suggestions.  Right now we're
considering Lake Geneva.  We're in our 40's-50's, not into bar/party
scene, and like unique places with local charm/flavor.
Best drive from Chicago to Montreal07 Jun 2004 16:14 GMT4
I am planning a "first-time" drive from Chicago to Montreal in a few weeks,
and was wondering what the best route to take would be. It's not a site
seeing trip, in fact, speed at that point may be more important, but I guess
what I want is the least complicated drive. I plan on ...

I'm going to be nearby the Oregon Vortex this summer. I saw some travel

I was coming through to Canada earlier and US Customs had the Blaine

up to the crossing.

We are making our first visit to the US, to the wedding of a friend on
Salt Lake City, but because I am using miles for the long hauls, we

We would like to connect quite quickly on a flight to San Francisco,
