I'll be in Montreal early in July with my husband and ten year old.
We're staying in the old part of the city at the Auberge Du Vieux Port
on Rue St. Paul.  Is this a nice/safe part of the city?  Are there
better sections of the city to stay in with kids?  Will we be able to

He's always wanted to go to Montreal, so I thought it would be a nice
surprise for him if we drove up for the long weekend.   As I am not
related, will we have any problems at the border?  Do I need a note or

EZPass18 Jun 2004 09:17 GMT9
A friend in the US suggested I get an EZPass since we're driving through

Is this possible/worth it for a few days of driving?  Will our trip in
July be hell without one?

Hovenweep Natl Monument (Utah) and Canyon of the Ancients (Colorado)17 Jun 2004 22:45 GMT3
Yesterday we decided to take a day trip (against my staunch objections).
First of all, it was 87 degrees, which did NOT make me the least bit happy.
Second of all, these places are in the middle of nowhere.  Forget getting a
coke or snack.  NO concessions anywhere to be found.
