For those with short attention spans. Here's the take-home lesson:
1- Use BART whenever you can. It's fast and cheaper than cabs.
2- Three days isn't enough. I'd have been happier with a week.

Thanks!

Has anybody used the Michelin PDA map software, specifically with a Palm OS

New Orleans January Trip29 Sep 2004 14:21 GMT3
We have a long weekend planned for New Orleans Jan. 15-18.  I was
wondering if there will be much early Mardi Gras activity going on
then (Mardi Gras is Feb. 8 in 2005).  Should we avoid the French
Quarter / Bourbon Street area with kids that time of year?

seeing (walk around town) a little bit of Boston and then drive around
