Thanks for any info!

Newfoundland in October?19 Sep 2004 14:56 GMT5
We're thinking of vacationing in Newfoundland in October. How cold is
the weather? My wife doesn't mind a little nippiness (say, 50F/10C),
but not freezing cold. Are we better off going in spring or fall? We
don't care about tourist attractions as long as the scenery is pretty,

In July, I got involuntarily bumped from a Northwest Airlines flight,

anywhere in the USA, including Alaska but not Hawaii. Several people
told me I should book a flight as soon as possible, because there are

My husband and I will be visiting LA in December. We don't know anyone

Utah- Over rated?17 Sep 2004 21:03 GMT54
I just got home from visiting Utah. I visited the four corners area,
monument valley, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Would you agree
with this statement? If you like rocks visit Utah, if you don't stay at
home.

expensive than Hertz (Hertz was by far the lowest of
the major companies). Hertz is $470 for an eight day
