Milady and I may have the chance to stay for a weekend over there, and I was
curious as to which hotels were in good shape after the hurricanes. Ideally,
we'd like one with highspeed Net access so I can work while the missus is
out doing her business as well; beachfront is a given. ...

Okay I realize that December in Canada will be cold.  I have read
that Montreal and the East have brutal winters.  But I think I want
to take a long weekend in early December, coming from the USA.
I'd like to hear comments regarding your suggestions for cities:

I rented a car from Hertz last month. Since I have no car, no
insurance and I am living in Texas, so I paid two kinds of insurance:
LIABILITY INSURANCE SUPPLEMENT: 9.24 USD  /per day

My wife want to go to Las Vegas for the first time this winter.  Our primary
purpose is to see Cirque du Soleil's "O" at the Bellagio and possibly
"Mystere" at Treasure Island.
We can't really afford to stay 3 or 4 nights at the Bellagio or Treasure

I know that public transport in Florida is scarce but what is the best
possible way & the cheapest to get from the Walt Disney Resort to New
York City or Chicago and how long roughly would it take around
June/July at its most buisiest time?.

I'm looking for any hospitality groups, clubs etc, that can host me(F35) and
my mother(60) in Mississippi, TN, and Louisiana(sp) Will be starting our
trip in Feb. for 2 weeks, possibly driving in from Canada (depending on how
