A massive hurricane seems to hit Florida every few years. I really don't understand why people continue to live there. Don't they get tired of having to evacuate every summer, and having their houses destroyed? Someone explain this to me.

I am from Hong Kong normally I visit US every year in early April. Last April I have visited Grand Ganyon, Bryce and Zion National Park. It was cold and actually we hit snow while we were in Zion. I was planing for next trip and amazed by the beatuiful picture of Yosemite
