There seems to be a real absence of cheap flights from the UK to the USA for
after September. Last year BA were offeringf the London to NY fare at £199
inc, the year before I got to go for £175 but now there's nothing about,
despite my checking daily.

I booked at a Canadian hotel through their "Best Rate" on their
website.  I cancelled less than 24 hours later as I decided on a
