will be arriving by greyhound and won't have a car, so i can't trudge
off to some motel 6 beside the interstate.
the comfort inn riverfront is all sold out.  can anybody recommend an
affordable hotel or motel downtown that will cost, say, less than $65

Hi, I have a 2002 Ford Taurus DURATEC sedan.  I'm going to install an
oversized transmission cooler, and a tow hitch.  I'm going to purchase
a 6 foot cargo trailer to pull behind it with all my stuff.
Question, the car and the trailer behind doesn't overload the car.  But

This summer, I'll be driving from Halifax to Charlottetown. Can that be
done COMFORTABLY in one day? Is there a neat place 1/2 or 2/3 of the
way along this route where one could stop for the night?

Planning a weekend stay in San Diego the weekend of June 11-12.  I
tried Priceline up to $100/night  for 4-star possibilities with no
hits.  I did mostly coastal choices and Miramar.  Any ideas?

Does anyone know of a website like Mapquest or Google Maps that lets you
get driving directions for trips with multiple legs?
IE If I wanted to go from DC to New Orleans, but stop in Jacksonville.
Or do I have to enter in all the legs manually?

I live in Princeton, NJ. I'd like to avoid the usual beach crowds, so I
figure it would be best if I go north or west. Any events in those
directions worth checking out? (Strawberry festivals? Town fairs? Big
open concerts? Something?)

We are planning a trip to miami and we've that some parts of the city (like
any other city) are good to avoid.  Where should we look for a hotel and
