water... It is only one hour or so from urban centers such as Hamilton,

I'm visiting New York in summer and plan to fly into JFK. Is it possible to
take public transportation such as the bus line to the Port Authority? I
know there's some kind of private airport bus that goes there but it costs
$15 and with two of us, that's more than we want to ...

My wife and I will be driving to Alaska starting around the beginning of
August and returning home around the end of September (yes, we have a copy
of the "Milepost"). I'd like to know what experiences people have had, or
advice they can render, on getting hotel or motel ...

I have made a stupid mistake and ended up booking the Sir Francis Drake
Hotel on priceline.  Since then I have read some very awful reviews
regarding the hotel.  I am thinking whether I should just leave the
booking and book some other place, or stick with it.  If any one has

We are planning to visit Washington this summer and have a question about
parking at Metro stations.
When we visited a 10 or so years ago there were spaces set aside that only
could be used after 10:00 or so to give tourists a chance for a spot.

Once upon a time you asked me about the Asterisk hotel. Well I have
finally stayed there, and can give a firm recommendation. €48 a night
got me a  well-appointed room with shower on the 4th floor (yes there is
one day trip to Key West from Miami21 May 2005 02:56 GMT10
Planning a cruise out of Miami in Nov. Is it worth it to drive down to
Key West for a day. Will arrive in Miami on early Friday morning and
the cruise doesn't set sail unitl Sat afternoon.
