we are planing to travel from Europe to Montreal by a fraight ship. How is it possible to travel from Montreal to Kirkland Lake? ( In the north of North Bay ON) We have no car. Is there any possibility to travel by train or bus? We cannot find any website about this.

Hi!! I have 2 chrildren ages 3 and 5. My wife and I would like to take them to NYC for christmas. I am wondering if i need a rental car in the city? Is the public trans system safe for my family? What about car seats in cabs?

I'm arriving at Dulles, it seems the taxi is likely to cost approx 45dols (phew !!!) to my hotel. Any suggestions for a cheaper method bearing in mind that we are an elderly couple with suitcases etc, any other advice gratefully received.
