Hurricanes and tornadoes21 Sep 2005 18:25 GMT42
How would you define the exact area in the US where a hurricane could
hit; and where a tornado could hit?
When I say "could hit" let us define it as meaning one has hit in the
last 110 years.  I don't want to say 100 as that would leave out

Tippees' perspectives20 Sep 2005 14:51 GMT54
We often see questions here about tipping.  Unfortunately, various
people try to inflate the actual situation by stating numbers higher
than reality or saying that it is customary to tip people when it
isn't.  Perhaps they think they're doing a favor for a low-paid person.
JFK-NY20 Sep 2005 10:45 GMT26

could help me with one question.
Which way of transportation would you choose to go from the airport to the
Empire State Building area?
Living in Hawaii vs. Visiting Hawaii20 Sep 2005 09:10 GMT13
I would like to hear from people who lived in Hawaii after growing up
on the mainland.  I think I would go crazy living in Hawaii because of
the heat.  I love visiting there but after 5 days I start going nuts.
Have people liked living there a lot less than they expected?  What
Good fare to Montreal19 Sep 2005 22:41 GMT1
Anyone have any leads on a "cheap" fare from Washington, DC to
Montreal? I don't mind one stop en route but prefer direct flight.  I
can't seem to find anything for under 400.00 US$, that's a lot to pay
for a 3/4 day weekend.

Me and my friend are trying to meet up with some people in NYC this
weekend. I'm 16 and so is my freind. We were hoping to spend the night

that will let us stay without an adult? Thanks, Chris
Unusual things you travel with19 Sep 2005 01:28 GMT41
I bring a cup for the bathroom, because the hotels give you those
flimsy plastic things.
