Moving back to US - border crossing by car question07 Mar 2006 19:15 GMT5
I'm a US citizen currently living in Canada (Montreal) but will be moving
back in a few weeks as a permanent US resident. I plan on driving my car
across the border (1000 Island,) but have never done so before, so I thought
I'd ask for any things to prepare for. I have a current US ...

San Francisco: "Dancer" Schedule for March 6 at the Mitchell Brother's O'Farrell Theater07 Mar 2006 10:40 GMT1
Like Las Vegas, San Francisco offers prostitution as a tourist
attraction.  If you want to buy some prostitution services (i.e.,
hand job, blow job, or full sexual intercourse), you need to merely
walk through the doors of the Mitchell Brother's O'Farrell Theater

I actually never gave this a thought.............................I have had
5 speeding tickets since May 2005, all between 6 and 14 MPH over the speed
limit. Is this going to stuff my renting a car? I have read the fine print
on the major firms' sites (when I can find it), where ...

NYC Easter Parade06 Mar 2006 00:35 GMT2
Has anybody got sage advice about the New York City easter parade? i.e.
is it worth attending (especialy when you have daughters 7,10,11). Is
the suggestion on various websites to try to see it from St. Patrick's
good? And how long does it last - should you be there at the official
Question about crossing the US/Canada border05 Mar 2006 23:45 GMT18
Alright, in a couple days some friends and I are making a road trip to
Toronto.  The problem with this is we have 6 people in a car with 5
seats.  We are debating on how to handle the border (we have all
crossed into Canada before many times and have no criminal record or
Headed to the west coast - need some questions answered05 Mar 2006 20:49 GMT4
Hey I am headed to the west coast (mostly staying in SF, Seattle) and then
Canada. I noticed there are quite a few hostels in SF, does anyone have any
recommendations. I want to be in the heart of it all. Plus, how easy is it
to make phone calls from the states to Europe? I am ...
Ottawa and Montreal airport access05 Mar 2006 16:09 GMT9
This summer I want to visit Ottawa and Montreal (from the USA, if
it matters).  I think an open jaw is best.  Does anyone here have any
comments on whether it is best to fly into versus out of one of these
two airports?  I think I will ride the VIA train from one city to another.

Targeting place to live in Adirondacks or New England05 Mar 2006 08:42 GMT1
I'm trying to determine the best town to live in that would suit my
recreational needs while at the same time provide a good setting for my
retail business.  I really like mountains for hiking and lakes for
fishing, so that's why the Adirondacks appeal to me.  I especially like
NYC - The Daily Show05 Mar 2006 06:21 GMT11
So, how do I get general admission tickets?  I went to the website,
clicked on tickets...got a page describing last minute, general
admission and VIP tix, but nothing on the page actually links to
anything else.  Went to their faq, clicked the link that says it is to
Spanish restaurant in manhattan04 Mar 2006 21:45 GMT9
Well after searching around for restaurants i thought this would be a
great place to help me out.  So I hope you don't mind me coming in here
and channeling it through the group to see if I can get some help.
I am a senior in High School and president of our Spanish club. I have
