I am planning a trip to the US during late May and early June. My current Itinerary is as follows: Arrive at JFK on Friday, May 26th at around 1 pm. Get a rental car and drive to Philadelphia. Pick up my sister and drive to Charlottesville, Virginia.

This summer I want to visit Ottawa and Montreal (from the USA, if it matters). I think an open jaw is best. Does anyone here have any comments on whether it is best to fly into versus out of one of these two airports? I think I will ride the VIA train from one city to another.
