Beach Island State Park (NJ)12 Mar 2006 23:04 GMT1
Has anyone been here?  It appears to be a very quiet, secluded place along
the shore unlike Seaside Heights, Point Pleasant.  I'm searching for a place
to visit that isn't crowded with tourists.
Many thanks,
NYC travel guides12 Mar 2006 17:58 GMT4
Haven't been to NYC in years and thought we'd get a travel guide before
we go. What is the best? Any recommendations.? Would rather stay away
from Frommers and Fodors, since I find them to have nothing bad about
any place and are thus rather unreliable . Also, don't have any

Throgs Neck Bridge12 Mar 2006 01:41 GMT2
A few months ago, there was a story in the New York Times about how
trucks had been banned from the Throg's Neck bridge because of
structural concerns.  Since I will probably be driving on that bridge
in about a week, I was wondering if there were any updates?  Has any
San Francisco: "Dancer" Schedule for March 10 at the Mitchell Brother's O'Farrell Theater11 Mar 2006 11:21 GMT1
Like Las Vegas, San Francisco offers prostitution as a tourist
attraction.  If you want to buy some prostitution services (i.e.,
hand job, blow job, or full sexual intercourse), you need to merely
walk through the doors of the Mitchell Brother's O'Farrell Theater
key west11 Mar 2006 07:53 GMT20
Would like suggestions for "must see/do" on my first time to Key West
(couple in 50's).   Where to stay, eat, sunset cruise, shop, sight-see.
Just would appreciate different input from those who have been there.  TIA

Missouri - Driving Route11 Mar 2006 07:11 GMT3
Wanting to go from Joplin to Hannibal....typical default routing would
have me going via St. Louis. But it appears to be considerably shorter
going through Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, Mexico and looks like
4 lane a good chunk of the way. Would that be a viable (and possibly
Quebec City and Kids11 Mar 2006 05:24 GMT2
Hey all. My wife, four kids (ranging from 4-16), and I are planning a
short trip to Quebec City in late June. Can anyone tell me if QC is a
kid-friendly place and if so, what she would try to see and do while we
are there? Thanks in advance.
Southern Utah - one more question10 Mar 2006 12:36 GMT23
We're getting along on our planning, so thanks for the help so far.
Is there a logical place to spend a night between Bryce Canyon and Moab?
Would Bicknell or Torrey be a good choice?  Anywhere else?  Or would we do
better to face the long drive and spend a fourth night in either ...

Bicycles on Amtrak10 Mar 2006 06:39 GMT8
I searched the Amtrak web page for info on carrying bicycles on the
train.  It was kind of vague.  Some trains have bike racks.  Some allow
you to check them with luggage.  Some allow you to take them on the
train with you.  Call a number to find out about YOUR train.
Booking a rental car09 Mar 2006 22:54 GMT17
I'm off to the US in September and was looking to rent a car from Alamo as
their reates were the most reasonable. For the period Sep 3  to Sep 30 the
base rate (excluding CDW and SLI) for a Buick Lucerne was $800 - as of 2
days ago its become $879. Why is this? Does it keep going ...
