Hi there everyone.
I'm planning on visiting some family friends who live in Arlington, TX
next month. I live in Portland, ME and I haven't decided on how to

I'll have two full days in Los Angeles, with a car.  I'm not particularly
interested in movie studios/theme parks, but more in interesting buildings,
museums, art galleries, interesting/historical and unique-to-the-locality

I am a man over 50, and I will be flying to NYC to see family and
friends next week.  But I am reluctant to ask my friends for their
hospitality AGAIN.  And REAL hotels are out of the question.
