Hi there everyone.
I'm planning on visiting some family friends who live in Arlington, TX
next month. I live in Portland, ME and I haven't decided on how to
travel to Texas - by car or by plane. What would you guys reccomend???
(1) Eureka to San Francisco, route?10 Apr 2006 22:06 GMT10
Two questions for you guys...
First one, I'll be driving from Eureka to SF in one day (as part of a road

In spite of Route 1 on the coast being beautiful and spectacular, would I be
Galveston, Texas: The Magical Island Kingdom10 Apr 2006 19:41 GMT5
Unlike the mythical Land of Oz; The Magical Island Kingdom of Galveston
actually does exist!! It is located on the eastern end of Galveston
Island, in the area bounded by the Gulf of Mexico on the South, The
Ship Channel on the East, Galveston Harbor on the North and 39th Street

San Francisco: "Dancer" Schedule for April 9 at the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater10 Apr 2006 12:03 GMT1
Like Las Vegas, San Francisco offers prostitution as a tourist
attraction.  If you want to buy some prostitution services (i.e.,
hand job, blow job, or full sexual intercourse), you need to merely
walk through the doors of the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater

I am going to fly into LUBBOCK, TEXAS next month and found a good deal

(2) Getting around in Los Angeles etc.10 Apr 2006 08:16 GMT3
Question 2 ...
I'll have two full days in Los Angeles, with a car.  I'm not particularly
interested in movie studios/theme parks, but more in interesting buildings,
museums, art galleries, interesting/historical and unique-to-the-locality
Hotel recommendation in San Diego10 Apr 2006 07:37 GMT4
Can anyone please recommend a good reasonably priced hotel in San
Diego. We'll be staying there in late september for a few days before
flying home to Australia. I've tried looking at tripadvisor but the
choice is so varied it is confusing.

Quiet hotel downtown  San Francisco?09 Apr 2006 21:48 GMT18
In march we will travel to San Francisco for a stay of 4 nights. To be able
to get a good night's rest we are looking for a clean and simple hotel in
the downtown area, around maybe 100/120 dollars for a double at the most,
where the noise on the inside and from the outside is ...

HELP!  I need hostel info for NYC09 Apr 2006 07:27 GMT2
I am a man over 50, and I will be flying to NYC to see family and
friends next week.  But I am reluctant to ask my friends for their
hospitality AGAIN.  And REAL hotels are out of the question.
So I was thinking of staying at a hostel, which I have never done.
