New York eatery22 Jun 2006 12:30 GMT5
Can anyone tell me the name and address of a place I've only seen in films.
It is a restaurant where the main dishes are meat...huge portions, and daft
as it sounds, it is famous for this alone.
I thought I'd come across it in a DK restaurant guide but no luck.

Advice New York21 Jun 2006 11:50 GMT6
We'll be visiting New York for the first time next week and wondered if
we should buy tickets for a musical online or at the theatre.
The only website we've seen so far is Broadway.com so we wondered
if anyone could advise us if this is the best  way to do it.

the US? We are planning to visit Utah, Arizona and Las Vegas very soon
but we haven't ever been to the US and don't know dining traditions in
this country.
Where to stay near Mt Washington and Acadia NP20 Jun 2006 20:48 GMT2
Question says it all: in what towns to stay near Mt Washington and
near Acadia NP. Any modern hotels/b&b's there?
Same question about Provinctewon and Nantucket. Is it best to go by
boat to Nantucket, or by plane? Pricing seems almost the same.

Toronto Driving Directions19 Jun 2006 19:30 GMT2
You're on the 401 approaching Toronto from the east, it's about 10:15 on a
Wednesday morning and you want to get to the Best Western on the corner of
Jarvis and Carlton. What route would you take?
Thanks!
A place to overnight in Las Vegas?19 Jun 2006 08:45 GMT23
Could you recommend a modest place to spend a night in Las Vegas? The
only requirements that me and my fiancee/wife will have are tidiness,
no noise and convenient free parking.
What is the cheapest motel in Las Vegas that you know satisfies the

I'll be driving from LA to San Francisco (H-1) this June with my wife and I was
