I'm thinking on my next road trip, that I should actually take the time to visit Glacier International Park... Um, why is it called this? There's a park that is in Canada called Waterton Lakes National Park, is that part of Glacier? Or does part of Glacier go into Canada?

We will have a two hour layover at the Vegas airport at between 11PM and 1AM. Would there be anyplace open to eat? I checked the website where the dining places are listed, but I could not find the hours. They always say Vegas is a twenty-four hour town so maybe the airport is also.

Just an FYI, I drove thru there yesterday - lobster rolls ( "market price" is the price on the board ) were $14.98 each Hot dogs are still $1. We got hotdogs with crispy bacon strip for $1.30 each

I am visiting Los Angeles for two weeks in August - I have quite a full itinerary, but have allocated 2 days for Hiking. I'd like to get by public transport from LA, to a base where I could stay for the night in the mountains (cheap).
