Can anyone tell me what US50 is like from Winchester VA through WV to Athens
and Chillicothe OH?   Is it reasonable to think of making that in one day?
I remember driving from Cass WV to Staunton VA and I seemed to keep on going
over ridge lines on not very fast roads.

I just came back from Montreal Canada, and I say it's the best part of

We want to drive the toll road up Mt Washington but will be in a hire
car we cannot use on unpaved roads.  (As visitors from the UK we do
not want to ignore that prohibition.)  I have found that the road is
