I will be visiting the aforementioned NPs in the beginning of July; on
my own (unfortunately). Apart from a bear-bell and pepper-spray,
should there be other things I should carry with me in order to be
prepared for a bear encounter?

Taking trip ex Talkeetna to Mt McKinley Glacier in mid Sept - Is it

On Monday July 23rd, I will be hosting an introduction to Lambada
Zouk at the Inn On The Green, I will be teaching a free beginners
class as well as spinning some classic zouk and Kizomba tunes. This
is a very special night because there will be a lot of people seeing

So, I have to ask... how many people have managed to blow a tyre on
their vehicle on the highway? (not including the Dempster highway, or
somewhere that you might expect this... I'm talking an Interstate, or
a paved secondary highway).

Edmonton's venerable folk festival is at hand! It takes place in
Gallagher Park near downtown running from Thursday August 9 through
Sunday August 12. Some of the many performers this year are Buffy St.
Marie, Nancy Griffith, Blue Rodeo and nonpareil acoustic guitarist

90% sure I'm coming over for a couple of weeks for a nice little holiday
from New Zealand.   Coming over with a couple of mates (2-3) who plan on
doing a work/skiing holiday type thing, but I will be on  fulltime holiday
as I already have a job :-).
