Hi, I'd like to reach Florida and I will need a car. Could you tell me
a reliable but not very expensive agency? I will have to hire a car
for one week. Is it better to hire it at airport? But will it more
expensive?
New York City outdoors clothing30 Oct 2008 07:56 GMT5
I am picking my brain trying to remember a really great outdoors
clothing shop on the east side. I've also been googling to no success.
I can only recall that it was on the east side of one of the main
streets, perhaps Madison, perhaps Park somehwere between 65th and

My wife and I are thinking of spending a month or two in New Orleans this
winter.  I'll love to hear from anyone who has been visiting the city
recently... of course we have the usual questions about how the recovery is
going and would like some first hand info.
AA Award Miles28 Oct 2008 12:33 GMT6
Anyone used miles for free tickets lately ?
Seems EVERY date I want ( just picking/browsing dates for next summer )-
is 45k or 50k - nothing for 25k.
( I DID go to AA site and when I pick dates I RARELY see 25k, most days in
Which airlines charge for the first checked bag?28 Oct 2008 00:02 GMT35
I was really pissed off at having to pay for checked in luggage last time
I traveled.  Are all the airlines now doing it?  It is a hidden charge and

within $15, and only one of the airlines has the fee.

Lanai, Kona or Honolulu for Christmas?17 Oct 2008 19:49 GMT8
We have three days to kill after spending time on Kauai and Maui, and
we were wondering what the better place to stay would be for three
more nights. Like good food, maybe a different experience. People have
recommended LAnai to us, and dissuaded us from Honolulu and we've
NH Foliage15 Oct 2008 21:36 GMT1
an FYI:   If you're heading to NH to check out the foliage, we were near
Mt Washington this week and most of the leaves have dropped on the
mountainside. The valleys still have their leaves ( protected from wind
and morning fog keeps them moist), but "just driving along" the view ...
